Nestled in the gardens of "Maple Corner" is the gallery of Australian Gold & Silversmith Guild member/sculptor, Barrie Salau The collection is designed and crafted using the elements of nature as a source of inspiration, much of which comes from the three acre gardens that surrounds the gallery and workshop. These pieces are created to be enjoyed today, cherished as an heirloom tomorrow. "I attempt to capture snippets of the vast array of colours and forms represented throughout the seasons of our unique environment. As a result the work has strong sculptural elements, blending interesting gems, enamels and combining the colours of precious metals." The garden is forever changing with the continued introduction of scupltural garden features, decorative paths and borders, and splashes of colour to compliment the flowers, trees and foliage.
Designed & Handcrafted collection, exclusive to the Dandenong Ranges. Presently there is a collection of work, enamelled in pinks and greens inspired by the beautiful "Winter Rose"flower displayed in the stunning, recently opened Olinda Tea House at 86A Olinda-Monbulk Road
