Two cottages are set in tree ferned gardens with tinkling streams just 500 mtrs from Olinda & Mt Dandenong Villages. All cottages offer superbly comfortable beds, the lounges are in front of open fires so you can curl up with your loved one and enjoy a glass of Yarra Valley wine by the fire in winter, or in the garden in summer. All cottages have deep double spa baths, full kitchens and generous continental breakfast provisions are included in the tariff. Espresso coffee machines are provided of course, and wireless internet in 3 cottages. FOUR VERY SPECIAL SELF-CONTAINED COTTAGES FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM: CANDLELIGHT COTTAGE Candlelight Cottage (c.1890) is a charming, original hills cottage, a few minutes walk from Olinda & Mt Dandenong delightful shops, restaurants and galleries, and close to the National Rhododendron gardens. Candlelight has 3 bedrooms, one with an antique queen bed, the second with a kingsize bed which can be split into twin. The third bedroom has a single bed. There is a full kitchen a new English stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and laundry, so perfect for a longer stay. Your children and a pet are welcome in this cottage which has a little waterfall in the back garden, a BBQ and outdoor sunny spots to sit. Airconditioned, centrally heated and an open fire are provided for your comfort. Wireless internet and a coffee maker provide all the essentials for a great getaway. TWILIGHT - A COTTAGE NEAR A VILLAGE Cottage in the Village offers a French Provincial feel. The cottage is open plan in style with brick floors on the upper level where there is a spacious lounge in front of the fire & TV. A full kitchen and a bathroom with a double shower are on this level. The lower level has original polished boards, a double spa bath next to the antique iron half-tester bed which is dreamily drapped in muslin. A pair of french doors lead to a courtyard with a BBQ. There is reverse cycle airconditioning for your comfort year round. Wireless internet if you must! A COTTAGE IN THE FOREST A Cottage in the Forest is nestled away in a secret location between Olinda & Sassafras villages - on an acre of forested land. This open plan cottage provides you with very comfortable lounges in front of the open wood fire, a kingsize bed overlooks treeferns through a big picture window. The newly renovated spacious bathroom has a walk in shower as well as a huge 2 person spa bath and again a big picture window to gaze at the treeferns. There is a full kitchen, TV/DVD/CD, a bookcase full of magazines and books, a minibar, wireless internet and the compulsory coffee maker make this a wonderful retreat for 2 special people. CLARE COTTAGE Clare Cottage, is found close to Sassafras village in a beautiful mountain bush garden. This cottage has two bedrooms upstairs with dormer windows and triangular windows looking out into the treetops. Downstairs a lovely light-filled loungeroom with a Coonara type fireplace, a big dining table and full kitchen makes for a very comfortable hideaway for 2 or 4 people. The bathroom has a deep 2 person spa bath and a lovely big window looking into the bush. There are sunny spots to sit outside too. Of course there is TV/DVD/CD, a selection of magazines and books, and the coffee machine - or you might just stroll down the track to Sassafras if you're feeling adventurous.
